We were simply stunned by the number of young ladies, teens, and adults who auditioned for our summer show, “Annie.” It warms our theatrical hearts to watch the number of people auditioning grow with each production. We are particularly excited about the numbers of youngsters who want to in be in a show. They are the future of theater and we look forward to their participation in shows for years to come.
We’d like to thank everyone who auditioned and we especially want to recognize the parents (and grandparents) who supported, encouraged, and waited patiently while 48 (!) girls auditioned for Annie and the orphans. You should be so proud of those girls – we wish there had been a part for each and every one of them! Special thanks to Lynn and Knute Hernas, Kelly Hensley, Sarah Jane Heid and Alex Holden for their help with the audition process.
Now the fun starts—set design, building, painting, rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing! We can always use help – come join us!
